Kaizer Chiefs have decided to take their CAF Confederation Cup match against Red Arrows to Durban’s Moses Mabhida Stadium.
Amakhosi are scheduled to face the Zambian outfit over two legs in the second preliminary round of the competition.
The winner of this tie will advance to the group stage, and Chiefs are aiming to advance for the second season in a row.
The Glamour Boys had received a bye for the first preliminary round after being seeded while Red Arrows defeat Madagascar’s FC Rouge.
Red Arrows twice beat FC 2-0 to set up a date with Chiefs after advancing on a 4-0 aggregate win over FC Rouge.
Now, the first of the two legs will be played at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Zambia on Saturday, 17 October.
Kick-off is at 15:00 SA time.
The return leg is scheduled for Friday, 23 October at Moses Mabhida Stadium which will host the MTN8 final between Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns.
Amakhosi hardly ever play their CAF Confederation Cup matches at FNB Stadium, and this was evident even last season when they used the venue just once.
And that was against Kabuscorp on 27 September in the preliminary rounds of the same competition.
